Recreational Facilities The common recreational facilities are for the use of all Mountain Springs Ranch property owners. The facilities include a community swimming pool complex, pavilion with picnic tables and grill, playground area, and a nature preserve with walking trails and a small pond. The preserve has picnic tables and grills near the pool complex and near the headwaters of our springs for you to enjoy, Restrooms are available in the pool area. The Nature Preserve is an area reserved for the enjoyment of our property owners and is restricted to non-motorized traffic.
Pool Complex Pool Hours beginning November 1, 2008 will be 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The pool furniture will be stored for the season on November 1. If you want to sit by the pool after that date, please bring your own chair. Restrooms at the pavilion will remain open during daylight hours for use with key cards. The Association reserves the right to close the pool at any time for emergency or repair. For pool use guidelines, please read the 2008 Recreational Facilities Handbook. Please note the drink vending machine has been removed from the pool pavilion. A card key is required to access the pool complex and the restrooms. Card keys must be renewed each season by signing and returning the Pool Membership Form and Release of Liability. Please allow 2-3 days for your card key to be activated. If you haven’t already received a card key, please complete the 2008 Pool Membership form and the 2008 Release of Liability form and fax it to 830-885-6698 or mail it to: Mountain Springs Ranch Property Owners
Association If you received a card key for the 2007 pool season, you will need to complete both the 2008 Pool Membership form and the 2008 Release of Liability form in order for your card to be activated. Please be sure to include your card number as requested on the Release of Liability Form. Please note all Homeowners fees must be current prior to card key activation. The Sports Pool may be reserved for private parties for children 10 years of age or older and adults (e.g. birthday parties, ball team parties, other similar events), which may include guests who are not residents of Mountain Springs Ranch. The Sports Pool must be reserved by completing the Sports Pool Lease and paying the rental fee and security deposit. The Splash Pool, Family Pool, and the Pavilion may not be reserved for private parties. For the safety and enjoyment of all, please read and follow the use guidelines.
Nature Preserve The nature preserve is a natural area reserved for the enjoyment of our property owners, their families and guests. Bluegreen created the current walking trails in the nature preserve and the hiking trails on the common area located between The Ridge, The Vistas, and part of The Highlands. The preserve has picnic tables and grills scattered by the fishing pond, the pool complex, and near the headwaters of our springs for you to enjoy. Restrooms are available in the pool area. The nature preserve is restricted to non-motorized traffic. NO MOTORIZED VEHICLE, INCLUDING ROAD BIKES, TRAIL BIKES OR ATVS MAY BE OPERATED IN THE NATURE PRESERVE. Please use motorized vehicles on your own property or on our streets. Don’t forget, in accordance with Texas law, only a licensed driver may operate recreational vehicles on the streets. Violators may be prosecuted.
